While Ms. Birdsell writes an over the top tale, it is so entertaining that readers will forget their lives and be pulled into the Russian mob and the secrets that lie behind suburban doors. SUBURBAN SECRETS goes away from Donna Birdsell’s normal historical themed novels, but to this author this is her number one book.
