Techno-tard

I want to say "thanks" to everyone who has sent a comment about one of my posts. I'd like to respond to each one, but I'm embarrassed to say I don't know how.

I am completely techno-tarded. You have no idea what it took to figure out how to publish these posts. I did write many more, actually. Sent them into cyberspace, but they never materialized on my blog. I have no idea what happened to them.

Perhaps they are appearing on a website in some alternate universe. The one where I'm growing younger and thinner each day, and have some chance in hell of figuring out how to use the Quick-Cook features on the microwave, and how to text my vote in on American Idol.

The other day I was watching the MTV Music Awards and I didn't know a single group on stage except for U2, who still don't get that they're old. Yes, OLD. Just like me! I'm old, and I'm going to OWN IT!

I can't even pretend I'm not middle-aged anymore. I mean, with the way I partied in college, I was probably technically middle-aged when I hit 27. But hey, I'm rolling with it.

Sure, it sucks to need a steel-reinforced bra just to keep your breasts out of your waistband. But on the other hand, I'm also able to leave the house in a pair of sweats and a wrinkled tee-shirt now that I know absolutely no one will give me a second glance.

Guess there's an upside to everything, right?
